The August public run day was an auspicious occasion for our club as we carried our one millionth passenger!

On August 4th 2002  members of Castledare Miniature Railway arrived at the grounds for our regular monthly run day, only this month's was to be a special day.

For on this day we were to haul our 1 millionth passenger...

The weather wasn't really on our side at all, though the was still enough passengers to keep us busy for  most of the day.....

The lucky passenger was Sue-Anne Rea of Victoria Park, a mother two boys - one of which is autistic. she took home with her that day, a pass entitling her to a multi rider ticket per month for tweleve months, along with a few souveniers.

A few photo's of the days event are below.

Our thanks to those who have allowed there use.
