On the front of permanent layouts, all of the modules for the lower deck have been built and erected on their steel legs. Work had slowed a litle while the track plan was developed. Work has restarted with the material for the roadbed being cut and laid out inposition prior to setting up on risers to attain the wanted hieghts and gradients. This has now been assmebled onto risers where necesary and it is now possible to see the path our trains will be taking on the journey around the layout. We have approximately 140 feet of mainline trackage around the layout on the lower level, it is anticipated that in the future, a second level will be added, with the two levels connected by a helix.
It is hoped we will have track laid on the mainline at least in the not to distant future.
